Happy St. Patrick's Day everybody!
Here's a tip for the day, and it's all about cleaning. I know, ugh. This could be my least favorite activity and yours too, I bet. You can take some of the inconvenience out of it, though, if you are prepared.
Household chores can become even more tedious when the right supplies aren't stored together. Taking a few minutes to organize cleaning products and supplies will save you time and energy and make everything more manageable.
-Decide if you prefer one bucket or caddy to keep your supplies in, or one in each location that you use it. We have chosen to keep one in each of our bathrooms and laundry room. This saves the step of searching your home for a product you need anytime you need to clean up.
-Use carrying caddies with handles for cleaning supplies. They are easy to keep clean and keep any leaks from ruining cupboard or closet space.
-Make sure to keep all cleaning supplies locked and out of reach from children and pets.
-Use pegs for hanging brooms, mops, and dusters. We use the wall behind the door in our laundry room for these awkward tools.
-Have enough sponges or cloths for separate jobs (one for kitchen cleaning, a separate one for the bathtub).
These few steps will save you so much time later, and make it faster to clean up that bathroom! I would love to spend less time cleaning. Who's with me!?
