Day 5 in the July Clutter Independence Challenge is here! Today let’s peek into our linen closet and see what’s lurking there. We keep games, puzzles, and swimming/beach stuff in ours. So that’s what I tackled. I thought...”Oh, there’s not much in there. This should be quick!” Well, it had become a black hole. But there is now some empty shelf space, and we have renewed enthusiasm for our games! What’s hiding in your linen closet? Don’t forget to share a pic of your donation bag for the day. We’re in this together! 😃
Board games aren't much fun to play if the pieces are missing, but keeping the boxes for games in spill free condition is also a challenge. These are a few simple options to keep your supply of games and puzzles organized and ready for the fun. Bring on game night!
-Use zipper seal bags to organize game pieces and tape the bags to the inside lid of the box to avoid losing them.
-Take large zipper seal freezer bags and put puzzle pieces into them, then cut out the cover from the puzzle box that shows the picture and store inside the bag. This also saves a ton of space.
-Use bookshelves or storage bins to keep games and puzzles together.
-Keep a basket, bowl, or bin on a game shelf for any of those stray pieces.
Below are a few photos to get your creative juices flowing! How will you contain your puzzles and games? I would love to hear in the comments.
